I left Mac halfway through grade 11 due to" family stuff"
and moved to Burnaby, BC. So I actually graduated in 1971 as B.C. had
grade 12. It is interesting to note the difference in education expectation,
I was failing math in PQ, and getting Bs in BC.
I went to college for fashion design and worked in the fashion industry
for 13 years. The lure of bigger and better things led me to Toronto
in 1978. What a 24/7 job that was but fun.
My life journey so far has been chocked full of events, some of which
I would not wish on anyone. I have experienced ADHD, M.S., learning
challenges, addictions, depression and numerous family deaths of which
Dorothy was the most recent. I miss her. We were in the same grade since
she accelerated grade 3-4.
All these life experiences has enabled me to find my passion, I love
to learn especially about the brain and nervous system. I am curious
about what makes us tick, get ticked and stop ticking. I am a Registered
Polarity Practitioner a comprehensive health building system that integrates
the physiology and chemistry with the electromagnetic energy of the
body. Some other areas of study are, Kinesiology (Brain Gym, specialized
& developmental), NLP and Craniosacral.
Currently living in Barrie, I have a private practice where I aid people
of all ages in becoming more integrated so they may Live to Learn&
Learn to Live.
Most importantly, I have experienced a lot of JOY.
Married for 22 years to an amazing talented man, John Umney-Gray, we
have 3 children; Dustin 20, Samantha 18, and Fiora 16. In their process
of growing up, they have been supplying me with lots of opportunities
to further my studies. We have a lovely property near the lake where
we are constantly under renovation, building and changing. We also have
2 dogs, 2 cats and goldfish that have me quite well trained.
All in all, I have a great life.
I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at everyones pictures. It is
amazing how the brain can switch back to that age by just an image.
I realized when I saw my picture that my hair was my very first lesson
in energy conservation. My hair is VERY curly and whether I like it
or not, it is brown. Talk about a waste of energy in attempting to make
it something it is not.
Thank you every one for this website, it has been fun.
